Accounts and Admin Assistant           Fleet                           2317/2                  Permanent   £16,000-£18,000pa

An excellent opportunity for an ambitious, hard working candidate who is keen to further their career within the accounts field. Working for a small company supplying to a niche product to a high end market this position will support the Office Administration and Accounts function.

General duties will include assisting the accounts function in creating itemised sales invoices of varying sizes and values (approx 35-45). This will involve gathering information from the production staff, coding products and creating the invoices using Excel. This role will also be responsible for the up keep of the company’s filing system and will also assist with other administrative duties as required.

The role will involve extensive communication with suppliers and customers so a confident telephone manner is essential. In return candidates can expect training within accounts and admin. Due to the nature of the business, at busy times this role will assist within the production department where attention to detail and a can do attitude will be essential.

This will be a demanding role that will require flexibility and the ability to work within a team. In return you will learn about an exciting industry with good prospects. Candidates will work a 40 hour week which will include 1 day at the weekend. Due to the nature of the business candidates will expected to work extra hours at busy times. Candidates must have a driving licence and their own transport and be willing to undergo a CRB check.

9am - 6pm Sunday - Thursday. Occasional 6am - 2pm shifts. Must have own transport and the position is in a village on the edge of Fleet.
